There is a great shop here in Wellington called Zinc+. It is an industrial and vintage furniture specialty store located in Thorndon. Owners Trish and Dave have created a unique mix of products sourced from their trips to Europe, especially France, combined with their own designed and NZ made furniture. Their specialty is Zinc topped tables - inspired by the French peasant tables. They can be made to any size and have a variety of leg options. Industrial Antiques

After my Tolix chair posting last week, Lou from Domestic Scene let me know that a set of 6 original Tolix chairs are for sale from an antique store in Auckland. When I went to check them out on this website, there was a great collection of industrial antiques to look at. Like the aluminium storage boxes, the Brille Factory Clock (C.1930), the french metal console tables (c.1940) and the shoe rack shelving unit from a French factory. Plently to look at.
