Admiring...Hotel Azucar, Veracruz
Okay - it is the middle of winter and life has been pretty busy so it's just natural to dream about a relaxing hot holiday somewhere away from here, isn't it? Here's the gorgeous Hotel Azucar in Veracruz, Mexico. Just plonk me here and I'd be a happy chappie.

Admiring...Christian Liaigre
Christian Liaigre - a French architect and furniture designer. I've admired his work for some time. He has that classy mix of understated luxury (and impressive clients with impressive budgets).
Here's an image of his work that I came across.

Admiring...John Pawson
One architect that I continually admired is John Pawson. I saw him speak in London and for someone who is famous for minimalism, he is a down to earth, slightly rumpled family guy. I spoke to him afterwards and he signed my copy of his book - yeah, just a wee bit of a fan.
Here is a house in Telluride by Pawson, via Remodelista. For a change, I admire the exterior more than I do the interior...
