Nokia introduced another Symbian Anna OS based Smartphone called Nokia E6 which is business centric meant for professionals. It has a candy bar look with QWERTY keypad and touchscreen display covered by corning gorilla glass.

Nokia E6 offers a dual experience that captures the traditional use of keyboard next to the increasingly common used touch like other Nokia Touch ad Type Phones.

This smartphone has a VGA screen of 2.46 inches with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The most interesting of the screen is its high resolution 640 x 480 pixels which is covered by a reinforced glass – Gorilla Glass . It is certainly designed to withstand a heavy workload every day.

The smartphone integrates 8 GB card expandable microSD up to 32 GB through an external slot. Offers a wide range thanks to a Nokia BP-4L battery that gives up 1.500mAH 7h and 30 minutes of talk time on 3G networks. Is a terminal that can operate worldwide thanks to its 5-band support 2G / 3G.

In terms of connectivity, with global 3G support, Wi-Fi N and Bluetooth 3.0 in a really very compact design: 115.5 x 59 x 10.5mm with a weight of 133 grams.

The multimedia field is covered by a camera of 8 megapixel fixed-focus lens with dual LED flash and ability to record 720p HD video at 25 fps. Also it has native support for legacy formats such as DivX.

The software Pre Loaded are Ovi includes Maps, QuickOffice, World Traveler, JoikuSpot Premium and Mobile Security F-all working on Symbian Anna. The terminal boasts push mail and instant messaging services. It also has USB On-the-Go [ OTG ] and AV output for connection to an external TV.

The latest version of Nokia Symbian OS named as Symbian Anna came to light today through images Videos published on web. The New Symbian boasts renewed interface with several internal changes to provide a better user experience.

Among the changes highlighted are: new line of icons, split screen with onscreen keyboard and faster web browser. The New Symbian Anna OS comes pre loaded in Nokia X7 and E6 smartphones and expected to arrive on Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia E7 and Nokia C6 through a firmware update.

The most notable changes are:

Web browser (v7.3).
Ovi Maps (v3.06): more intelligent search, check-in on facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, view public transport routes, download maps via Wi-Fi.
Ovi (v2.06.xx).
Social (v1.3): better integration, higher high-resolution images, etc.
Ovi Suite (v3.x) .

Windows 8 M1 Build 6.1.7850 Leaked Download available

Windows 8 was in the news for a long time now and today, Milestone 1 is leaked on web though currently on private FTP servers as published on Betaarchive. It is expected to soon find its way on Torrents and other file sharing sites.

Win7China and other sources has already quoted that Windows 8 Milestone 3 is ready whereas the leaked build is quite old. Windows 8 Milestone 1 build 7850 has build string 6.1.7850.0.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508. Number 10/09/22 in the string says that internal build which is leaked was compiled on 22nd September 2010.

As I already said, the build is pretty old but if you are curious to try out new Windows 8 features like One click Reset, Aero Auto colorization, User Picture in Taskbar, etc. then you can keep eye when this leak finds public way on your favorite torrent site. Filename is 6.1.7850.0.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508_x86fre_client-enterprise_en-us.iso with file size of 2.45 GB (2,637,101,056 bytes) and MD5 EA2DCFADA6BBA517A0A0649D15E1EB3D

It’s not confirmed whether all the above features are integrated in Milestone 1 because most of them came into light after the build was compiled but curious guys can always try it on Virtual Machine.

Encrypt Facebook Updates, Share with Specific friends & Set Expiration Time

In social networking sites like Facebook you can have lots of friends related to several fields of Work. They can be childhood friends, teachers, co-workers, business partners etc. There may be times when you may not want to share your status updates with all friends and also for a limited duration. In times like this uProtect can be handy.

uProtect is a web service that allows you to encrypt status updates including links and photos and share them with selected friends. If you wish you can also set time duration to your updates after which they will not exist. Using uProtect is simple and can be done in few steps.

Though we have already seen How to Stop Specific People from seeing Facebook status updates but here in addition we can now encrypt those updates and even set expiration time.

How to Encrypt Facebook Status Updates with uProtect

Visit uProtect website and create a free account. This will take few minutes, you can also use your Facebook account to log in selecting a different password.
When the account is created, login and install the Firefox plug-in. Restart Firefox to complete the installation.

Set basic rules for encryption like selecting friends and giving expiration date for updates. This will be set as default rules and can also be changed every time you make an update. If you do not change it during update then the default rules willl apply.

Dashboard allows you to keep track of all encrypted updates.

Now log in to your Facebook profile and you will see few changes.

uProtect is a good technique to have total control over the material you share. You friends also need to use this service in order to receive the encrypted updates from you.

6 reasons why I hate Facebook

Facebook may be a big social networking site, but it’s not the best. OK; it can be a great web traffic source and you can get immediate exposure for your posts. These are pretty strong causes, why you would love Facebook. But not today. Now you will see, why this "great" website sucks.

Annoying ads

You may heard of Facebook ads. It’s based on the CPC (cost-per-click) and the CPM (cost-per thousands of impressions). There is no set cost for Facebook Ads. You can decide how much you’d like to spend for your marketing campaign. This is very impressive if you are an advertiser, but if you are an average user, these adverts are irritating. Every time you visit a FB page, in the sidebar there are about 5 ad blocks with a "Like" button under every one.

Privacy problems

Now there are loads of privacy options. But would you really trust a business orientated company? Maybe yes, maybe no. It’s your decision.

There are better social networking sites

Frankly I think Twitter is better. Of course there are limitations there as well. You can’t tweet a message more than 140 characters. But it is a great way to reach a targeted audience. Also Hi5 and LinkedIn are good if you want to get awesome results for your business or your blog.

"Spammy" emails

Here is my little story: I didn’t use Facebook for about one month. But nearly every time I viewed my email inbox, I got an email titled: "Getting back onto Facebook". It always said:

Hi …..,
Sorry you’ve been having trouble logging into your Facebook account.
GET BACK ON FACEBOOK NOW!

Of course I didn’t try to sign in to Facebook. So all of those mails were scam.

Every time I would like to view a page that interests me, it tells me, you have to Like to view all content. This is a quite simple marketing tactic. Getting users to register, to get access to anything. But what if I wouldn’t like to sign up? What if I don’t want to give information about myself?

I’m sick of the Facebook orientated world

"I will go to play football on Saturday. Can you come? Write to me on Facebook if you're coming."
"Can you give me the Maths homework on Facebook?"
"I will give you the link of my website on Facebook!"
Why do we need this website? OK; it’s good and nice, but that’s it. Everything is that’s it…

So if I would like to summarize this social network, I would say today it is good but tomorrow it will end up like MySpace, forgotten.

Codemasters comes up with its next installment of Operation Flashpoint, expected to be one of the most savaging game of the year.
From the gamers point of view Operation Flashpoint:Red River will be one of the toughest games you ever come across giving an adrenaline rush that very few have to offer.

This modern first person shooter(FPS) takes you to a higher level of gaming reality, owing to improvements in the human-damage model, where the soldier has to get their specific body parts blown off in case of severe damage.

You get to choose from four character classes that are designed to complement each other in a way that should create the perfect unit of marines, with the scout, grenadier, rifleman, and auto rifleman each one having their own pros and cons. Codemasters like the previous Operation Flashpoint releases offers a fun filled 4 player co-op mode and recommends this mode for a better gaming experience.
