Place these downloaded file into one folder and extract redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc9.zip there itself. This process includes upgrading firmware of iPod 4G from 4.2.1 to 4.3.1 using Restore option in iTunes. Then Jailbreaking it using Redsn0w for Windows. Remember, Restoring will erase all data on iPod so make sure you sync Music and Apps from iPod using iTunes to your desktop. Let’s begin with Firmware upgrade to iOS 4.3.1 using Restore. Connect iPod to iTunes and on Summary tab, Press Shift button and click on Restore button. Browse to the folder and select iPod4_1_4.3.1_8G4_Restore.ipsw file. iTunes will now erase all data, verify integrity with Apple online and device will be restored to Factory settings. iPod will restart and you will have to sync with the backup already stored on desktop. Video Screensaver is a free portable application that allows you to set favorite video clips as screensaver. It is easy to use with minimal settings from the user. Only thing that you have to do is add videos to the playlist. The application can be accessed from system tray. You can add as many video clips you want. Video Screensaver can only play .avi files. These videos can be played in random order with sound enabled or disabled. It allows you to select ideal timeout after which the video is played. You can select to resume video playback from where it was left in previous play. To add this application to windows startup, open start menu and go to startup folder in programs, open this folder by right clicking on it. Drag Video Screensaver executable file to this folder.
