If they are only available during the days hours and Monday through Friday, walk away because servers don’t always go down during support hours.

If you are using shared hosting, then look for a provider that includes adequate monthly bandwidth, server space, and being able to add on additional domains to a single account. You should find out what happens if I use more bandwidth that what is allocated. Going on your bandwidth limit can be expensive so know these things up front before signing up with them. It is important they have additional plans that offer you the opportunity to grow as your business grows.

A good hosting company will also offer VPS hosting and dedicated hosting. VPS and Dedicated hosting are for websites that have grown and need more resources. The resources used are strictly by you and not shared by the hosting community. These plans are more expensive but can be more than worth the money if your business has grown to the point where they are needed.
