Plates on Walls

 In the past, I wasn't so keen on the idea of having plates on walls. It seemed so old fashioned, however, over the last wee while I have been seeing some great examples around and recently my art installer hung a range of vintage plates on my client's wall. What's the point of keeping them in a cupboard collecting dust when they can be visually enjoyed?
I like the top image with its collection of plates and pictures together - there is even one plate facing the wall so that you appreciate the detail underneath.
The lower image has a sweet theme of leaves and flowers for its plate collection. Looks great against the dark wall.
