Working on Firefox 4 can be made lot easier with Focus Keyboard. It is a small add-on to Firefox that makes working lot easier by customizing key functions for Firefox.

With this add-on enabled you can type anywhere on browser to get it on address bar. Other features that makes this add-on useful are:

Pressing the Escape blurs focus from any element including the location bar.
Pressing Enter reloads the current page.
Pressing Delete takes you to the end of the location bar’s text.
CTRL+V automatically pastes into the location bar from clipboard.

On booting, Windows 7 shows a small video clip with flashing Windows 7 Logo and “Starting Windows” written below. This usually takes 5 seconds so, you can reduce booting time by 5 secs by skipping Graphical boot.

To do this, press start button and enter “System Configuration” in search bar.

Go to Boot Tab and check the box infront of No GUI Boot.

After Restarting, you will notice that, Starting Windows Screen is no more shown and Windows boots faster. Anytime later, when you feel like getting back that video back while booting, undo the steps above.

Handcent SMS is a powerful free SMS /MMS tools for your android phone. In their recent update, they introduced a new feature called Privacy Box. With this new feature, you can now hide SMS threads using password protected privacy box.

How To Use Private Box on Handcent SMS

If you have not yet installed Handcent SMS on your Android device, you can download and install it from the Market for free.
Once you install the application, make a free account with Handcent SMS by tapping the setting button on your device while you are on the app and navigation to Settings—>Handcent services—>Get online account . You can use the app with out making an account but to use Private Box feature, you must make one.
Once you have made an account login using the Handcent app via Settings—>Handcent services—>My Handcent Login.
Now navigate back to your messages thread and navigate to More —> Private Box by tapping the setting button on your device while you are on the app.
To view your private box you will have to give your Handcent Login password. Make sure you don't click on remember password or your security will be at stake.
Once you are in your private box you can add contacts you want to hide from the world.
From now on the selected person’s SMS will skip your Inbox and will only appear in your private box after you successfully authenticate your self.

You can now relax as all your private conversations won’t be read(or be made visible) by other messaging apps (stock, 3rd party, etc.) without your password.

It did not take me much time to notice that Microsoft have missed one of the most essential feature in IE9, the Spell Check tool. Now here is the easiest way to add spell check feature to IE9 and have a typo free web experience.

Before

Download Speckie add-on for Internet Explorer 9. It's a simple spell check tool add-on for Internet Explorer
Close all the instances of Internet Explorer, if any running on your system.
Install Speckie and launch IE9.
For the first time, you launch IE9 after installing the add-on, it will ask you whether you want to enable or disable the add-on, just enable it.
Now, you are free to make spelling mistakes on IE9 as Speckie is there, running in background, to rectify your mistakes.

Microsoft began release of its first major update for Windows Phone 7 called NoDo (which is said to be No Donut as related to Android). This update includes Copy-Paste which was much missed since its launch.

Other innovations included are better search options in the Marketplace of apps and music (for example, now we click the search button while we are exploring applications, applications will only appear in the results) and better performance games and applications open and switched on the phone.
