Social networking is today’s trend, as peoples loves to socialize with others over the web. There are reasons why Facebook, MySpace and other social networking services do not allow peoples under the age of 13 to join. There are adult and questionable content over this social networks, and almost any member can be contacted by strangers. This would be the strong reason of not being allowed this age peoples to join.
But new recently launched entrant Everloop, a site that lets children network in a safe, private way.  A new social network that aims to be a Facebook alternative for children between the ages of 8 and 13. Some quick reviews about everloop :
Everloop actually provides more functionality than Facebook, allowing its members to customize their profiles in a wide variety of ways — like changing the background or adding decorative or branded stickers.
Everloop operates same as Facebook (virtual currency, photo albums and games included), but it does requires verified parental permission to join. Parents can also select which of their child's actions on the site they would like to be notified about, and have the option to restrict features like IM and friend suggestions. All minor activity on the site is monitored to prevent inappropriate behaviour.
Main key features make Everloop compatible with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which prohibits particular websites from collecting information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. Most tweens bypass this law on other social networks by simply lying about their birthdays.
Because it is COPPA-compliant, Everloop can be used in schools also. After the partnership with i-safe ( Internet safety education program), everloop will be available in near around 56,000 schools.
Peoples are unable contact with the stranger over this social networks.
