After years of rumors, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is real. The expected PlayStation Phone request has been brought to reality for all those who wanted a phone to Play.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play includes a sliding gaming pad under the screen dedicated to games with a crosshead direction buttons and tactile surfaces as well as an analog controller.

No doubt Sony Ericsson leverages the versatility of Android to offer one of the first devices on the market focused on games on this platform.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has been shown at Mobile World Congress 2011 a few minutes ago and it comes with a 4-inch Touchscreen with 854×480 pixel resolution that works on Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a ARM SoC Scorpion CPU to 1 GHz Qualcomm Adreno graph 205.
