They continue to hog space on Hard Disk after every update so, here’s how you can delete them. Fortunately, this is not a problem if you are using Stable version of Chrome but if you are not sure, better check out yourself and act. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application Here you can see the folders of older versions of Chrome with name like 9.0.597.94 and 9.0.597.98 etc. If the number of folders is two to three then no need to worry but incase it exceeds, delete the older (lower number) folders to free up some space. Martin who discovered this trick freed up some 2.8 GB of space occupied by Notorious Chrome. I would suggest, open Chrome browser > Settings > About to check the version of Chrome you are using and delete folders with number not relating with the installed version. It lists all the Drives (Local / Network or Portable whether connected or not Connected) so you can perform operations on them.
