Create Multiboot USB DVD by burning multiple ISO Images in one Disk

Advntages of ISO images are beyond dispute; Linux distributions and most Antivirus rescue CDs are released in this way. Limitation is you can crate single boot DVD or USB Flash drive eventhough it has enough space.

An Indian developer made a multiboot software to make multiple boot ISO USB or DVD using a software. XBoot is a multiple boot software application which can burn multiple ISO into single USB or DVD. So we can utilize the complete space of single physical drive.

The images are added via drag and drop into the program window and to each we can assign a name and category for easy identification. We will also see the space occupied by each and the combined total space, so that we can make sure to keep the total time below the maximum offered by our unit.

Also, we have an option to verify checksums, which adds extra safety always necessary when burning images that are downloaded from the web. Then only remains for us to click on the button “Create ISO” to start recording XBoot.

XBoot is still in beta, even it’s name is subject to change when final version is released. You can contribute to report errors and suggestion at official thread on Bootland forum.

XBoot is freeware and compatible with Windows 7 , Vista and XP in 32 and 64 bits, and only requires the. NET framework 4.0.

How to Fix Limited Access Network Problem by Resetting in One click

Posted: 13 Dec 2010 02:09 AM PST

When working continuously on Internet connection for a long time, suddenly you get an error in Network connection reading “Limited access or No Connectivity”. Component called TCP / IP is responsible for it.

TCP / IP gets corrupted and as a result you cannot access Internet connection from your system. To solve the issue, What I generally do is right click on network in Tray icon set and Troubleshoot.

Troubleshoot detects a problem (which is more often related to TCP/IP), Resets Wireless Adapter (General Solution) then verifies whether problem is Solved Followed by detection of additional problems.

Reset Reinstall TCP IP

When you know that problem can be fixed by resetting then use Reset & Repair TCP/IP, a small program which fixes everything in one click. It is a portable program, execute it and click on Reinstall/Reset to apply the fix.

For efficiency of this solution I recommend checking the boxes that says “Also repair WinSock” and “Restart after reset” so that WinSock repair and restart the computer at the end and get a new IP address on the local network.

The application works well with Windows XP, 2003, Vista and Windows 7, no installation required, just download it and run it.

A new and updated version of the Android market was launched recently. With promising all new UI and over dozen of updates it will be slowly rolling out to the users soon.

Yet for impatient users, one like me, who can not wait to try the new Android market on their devices Droid-Life have provided a fully working apk file of the new Android Market submitted by a user. The update is said to work on almost all the devices running on Android 1.6 or higher.

I myself tested it on a custom Android 2.2 ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S and it worked like charm with out any glitches.

Please note that its not tested on all the phones so install at your own risk. I however tip the Cyanogen users to make a back up of their data prior to install. However If you run into issues, go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and find "Market."  Tap on it and then "uninstall updates."
