Use Free Email account Space to Store Files, Share and Sync on Windows Posted: 18 Nov 2010 09:26 AM PST Many alternatives have been developed to store files remotely including File Sharing Hosts, etc. Even Email accounts today have unlimited space which is not completely utilized in most of the cases. What can be more safe storage space than email account to store your files completely free! SharedSafe is a good alternative windows tool which can send and store files in your email account by linking any folder. This free application can be configured with any email services simply by using IMAP protocol. Here is how it is done: Install the application and configure email (For example: I am testing it with Gmail) and Password. Also, specify the folder you want to sync with the storage space. You can link as may folder you want afterwards using context menu option. Probe your email and after successful probing, Click on “Create Safe and link to Folder”. To send any file to email account space. Copy the file to the linked folder and it will be automatically sent and stored. In the Gmail account, there will be a new label created with the name of that folder. And the files are stored as email attachment in encrypted form. You can customize “Send to” right click context menu and add the linked folder to make job easier. This is probably best utilization of email account space and make most out of it without paying anything, secured and safe too! Now, Sony Ericsson is keen on updating its much popular Xperia series. Recently, it has come to the news that Sony Ericsson will soon be coming up with a staggering 4.2 inch touchscreen handset named as Xperia X12 Anzu. Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 Anzu Tech SpecsThe new Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 will feature the latest Android build Gingerbread (v2.3). The phone will have MSM7230 processor which has 800MHz of processor speed. The 4.2 inch phone has multi-touch capacitive display having a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The handset will have 8.1 MP camera with Exmor R with 16x digital zoom, facial recognition etc. It is capable of recording HD videos at 720p/30fps. Reliance Communications to come up with 3G services by December 2010 Posted: 17 Nov 2010 08:51 PM PST 3G services are getting immense popular these days. And therefore, we see more and more telecom operators launching their 3G services. Recently we saw Airtel announcing its 3G services by December end. Tata Docomo, infact became the first private mobile service provider to launch 3G services. Now, we have Reliance Communications (RCOM), the third private telecom service provider to come up with 3G service by the end of this year. According to Mr. Syed Safawi, Head of Wireless Business, Reliance Communications, the 3G services will be launched by the year end in 13 regions across India. The regions include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, North East, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar and Assam. The Reliance 3G services will offer speed up to 21MBPS, thus allowing you to access the internet at a breezing speed. This is what we call as 3.5G. Now, all of a sudden we have around 5 telecom operators ( BSNL, Airtel, Docomo, Idea and Vodafone) coming up with 3G services. But, Idea and Vodafone are planning to launch their 3G services earlier next year. Eventually, it will once again create a race among the rivals.
